Warranty

Detailing Power will safeguard the treated surface under the terms and conditions listed below. Should the car surfaces be damaged with tree sap, insect spray, bird droppings or the sun’s harmful UV rays, Detailing Power will repair or clean your car at its discretion.

If you have registered your Detailing Power Ceramic Coating Warranty with us, we will retreat the damaged area at no extra cost to the owner. Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before agreeing to them. You will need to print or save a copy of your warranty for your reference.

The Detailing Power warranty covers you for specific problems with the surface of your car. Such, as paint oxidation and staining and helps to extend the ‘new’ appearance of the car for longer.

Following our simple car washing guidelines and using our Detailing Power range of aftercare products your car will retain its showroom condition for years to come. It is important that you recognise the surface of your car.

For customers who do not have the time to maintain their cars, or would prefer to leave this to the experts, our team of Accredited Detailers worldwide offer a range of aftercare service packages.

Your Detailing Power coating is only covered by warranty when applied by an accredited detailer or approved dealership. We also require a completed online warranty registration. Please note that your warranty is only valid in countries where Detailing Power has distribution. Available through dealerships or an accredited detailer network.

It is the owner’s responsibility to register the car for warranty. After which the car is subject to the terms and conditions here. The warranty must be registered no later than 30 days after the treatment has been applied to the vehicle.

Please note warranties are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the original purchaser of the registered vehicle.

Vehicle inspection schedule
To maintain your Detailing Power warranty, we recommended that you visit the Detailing Power Accredited Detailer who applied your original coatings every 12 months during the warranty period of 5 years.

If you have changed your address, please email us at warranty@detailingpower.com. They can inspect your cars finish and give you advice on your vehicle.

This inspection is free of charge and can at a time convenient to you. Please note this inspection does not cover any valeting, and that your car must be sufficiently clean for this work to take place. With our Detailing Power Ceramic Coating, your car’s exterior will then be-covered by our five-year warranty.

Warranty Conditions and Exclusions
In the event of damage to the factory painted surface caused by the following;
– collision
– accident
– vandalism
– abuse
The vehicle can be taken to a Detailing Power accredited detailer for assessment. Any retreat of the damaged areas will be at the expense of the owner or insurance company.

The owner must present a copy of the warranty document and -authentication code before the car can be re-treated.

Your Warranty does not cover the following damages:

– stone chipping
– surface rust
– marring
– abnormal chemical fallout
– spillage
– untreated panel repair
– replacement
– scratching
– abrasions

Manufactures imperfection or paint imperfections such as:
– paint flaking
– peeling
– foreign substances in paint
– orange peel surface
– clear coat separation.
Please note this warranty does not cover satin or matt paint finishes.

Warranty Terms and Conditions Apply

If damage to your vehicle occurs during the warranty period the following procedures should be followed:

a) Immediately notify Detailing Power at warranty@detailingpower.com with your; name, phone number, warranty serial number, and with a brief description of the damage or fault.

b) Detailing Power may then arrange for an assessor to inspect the vehicle. This inspection will take place during normal business hours, at a location agreed with the assessor.

c) If Detailing Power accepts the claim we will agree a time for the repair and treatment.

d) A failure to make a claim within 30 days of the problem being visible, will absolve Detailing Power of any legal responsibilities or liabilities.

The warranty shall NOT be applicable in the case of:

a) Damage by collision, acts of vandalism and burns of any description.

b) Treated surfaces which come into contact with dyes and paints.

c) Staining or discolouration or any other defect as a result of faulty manufacture.

d) If the surface is altered or overcoated with other products other then Detailing Power.
